What Is Education Funding?

Education funding programs help eligible homeschool families pay for approved educational expenses using state-sponsored funds. Depending on your state, these programs may be called Education Savings Accounts (ESAs), Education Freedom Accounts (EFAs), scholarships, or school choice programs.

While program names differ, the goal is the same: give families more flexibility to customize their child's education and purchase approved learning resources.

How to Complete ClassWallet Purchase Via Direct Pay

Using ClassWallet Direct Pay is easy. Request an invoice from UWorld, submit it through the Pay Vendor process, and, once approved, ClassWallet pays UWorld directly using your available education funding.

Step 1: Choose Your Educational Product & Complete Request for Invoice Form.

After selecting the educational resource you’d like to purchase, complete the invoice request form linked below. Your UWorld invoice will arrive shortly via email.

Step 2: Log Into ClassWallet and Select “Pay Vendor”

The “Pay Vendor” option can be found from either your homescreen or in the main navigation menu dropdown (shown).

Step 3: Search “UWorld” in Search Bar

Search for UWorld directly through the search bar or drilling down through categories.

Step 4: Upload Invoice

Upload the PDF or a screenshot of the invoice provided by UWorld via email. Click BROWSE, select the file, and click upload when prompted.

Step 5: Choose Wallet

Choose the correct “wallet” (student) for the product payment request.

Step 6: Enter Additional Purchase Information

If prompted, enter the product description, invoice number, or additional comments.

Step 7: Review and Submit for Approval

Review your information, then submit it for approval.

Using ClassWallet’s Link + Approve order process shortens the approval process by eliminating the need to first request and receive an invoice from a vendor. Instead, families can link directly to UWorld following the steps below.

Step 1: Log Into ClassWallet and Click “Link New Vendor” Button.
